The countdown is on! The Bendemeer Rodeo Grounds will be buzzing with action on Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of November 2025, as the Bendemeer Campdraft returns for another thrilling year of competition and community spirit.
What is Campdrafting?
Campdrafting is uniquely one of the oldest Australian sports that combines true horsemanship, cattle handling, and speed. Riders select a steer from a holding yard (“the camp”), then guide it through a figure-eight course and through the gate — all against the clock. Forty-five seconds!
It’s fast, it’s exciting, and it showcases the incredible Australian partnership between horse and rider.
